Energy performance report
The A to G rating of the home, required for every sale and every rental, and registered with ADEME.
The energy performance report rates the home from A to G on its energy consumption and its greenhouse gas emissions. The rating must appear in the property advertisement.
What we check
- Walls, roof, floors and windows, and their insulation
- Heating, hot water and ventilation systems
- The surface and the orientation of the rooms
Good to know
Since 2025, a home rated G can no longer be let under a new lease. The report receives a number that anyone can check on the ADEME website.
